Urban Stormwater Network Upgrade in Dubbo CBD


Council is commencing a major project to significantly upgrade the City’s stormwater drainage system in Brisbane Street and Hawkins Lane (between Talbragar Street and the Western Rail Line). Construction of a new stormwater pipeline - to be completed in six stages over nine to 12 months – will significantly improve stormwater drainage in the CBD to the Macquarie River. 2010 annual clean-up service for bulky rubbish


Council will be holding its usual Free Annual Kerbside Cleanup for collection of bulky rubbish and green waste during September and October this year.The area normally receiving this service will be split into four zones, consisting of three urban zones and one rural zone. The clean-up collections will be conducted over one week in each zone. More »
